Yasmine Mahana

Yasmine is a Clinical Neuropsychologist specialized in neuropsychological testing and assessment of adults and older adults. She is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society. (GBC Status).
She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the American University in Cairo(AUC). She went on to complete a postgraduate certificate in Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College (UK). She was awarded her master’s degree with distinction in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Sheffield (UK).
Yasmine did a supervised practical training in cognitive assessment and rehabilitation in Egypt and Greece.
Yasmine offers neuropsychological tests for Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease ,Traumatic Brain Injuries, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and Brain Tumors.
She is also interested in cognitive assessment for Adult ADHD and for adult with educational or occupational problems.
Yasmine is passionate about cognitive rehabilitation and helping patients to restore their cognitive functions after Traumatic Brain Injuries, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and Brain Tumors.
She also does a Cognitive Stimulation Therapy(CST) for patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, and Vascular Dementia to help them to improve and maintain their cognitive abilities for extended period of time.
Yasmine believes that with good understanding of cognitive problems and sustained effort of rehabilitation brain could function better.
