Child and Adolescent Psychologist

Rana Walid is a Child and Adolescent Psychologist with a strong focus on supporting children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and adjustment difficulties, along with neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which she integrates into her work to help young people understand and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She also incorporates play therapy and mindfulness-based strategies to support emotional expression, regulation, and self-awareness in age-appropriate ways.

Rana holds a Master’s degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology from the American College of Greece and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The American University in Cairo. She has worked in school settings and private practices, where she has supported children, teens, and families through a range of emotional, behavioral, and school-related challenges.

She has completed a specialized webinar on CBT for Youth with ADHD through the Beck Institute, and is currently continuing her professional development through additional CBT coursework with the institute.
