Sarah is a specialist psychiatrist with particular interest in child and adolescent psychotherapy. She has been working with children suffering from depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, ADHD, anger management problems and other behavioral disturbances. She is a member of the Egyptian Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Association. After completing her Master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry, she has received training in different modalities of psychotherapy such as ACT, CBT and family therapy. Sarah has a great interest in helping children & adolescents with traumatic experiences. She is an accredited EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, an evidence-based therapeutic intervention that treats different types of mental health disorders, such as, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression and panic attacks. She is trained by Trauma Aid UK and EMDR UK trainers. She is also trained on G-TEP (a special module of EMDR that focus on recent trauma and can be delivered in group setting)
